How DataFrame.fit works

DataFrame.fit is a free Garmin training analytics dashboard. Sign in with Google, link Garmin Connect, pick the sports you train, and sync. Home then tells you whether today's plan still fits your recovery - and after you train, whether the quality of the work landed.

How DataFrame.fit works: sign in with Google, link Garmin Connect, pick your sports, sync, plan the week onto your watch, then review Home, session quality, compare weeks, nutrition, and share cards. Free for endurance and hybrid athletes.

1. Sign in with Google

Open dataframe.fit and sign in with Google. There is no paid plan and no credit card. Your training data stays private to your account.

2. Link Garmin Connect

In Settings, connect Garmin Connect. That is the primary source for activities, sleep, HRV, Body Battery, and readiness. Optionally link TrainingPeaks for coach plans or TP-only sessions (for example Zwift), and MyWhoosh for indoor rides captured there.

3. Pick the sports you train

Mark running, triathlon, HYROX, or whatever you actually do in Settings. Home, volume, bricks, tips, and race formats follow that list - nothing is buried as other.

4. Sync your training

Use Sync in the header. DataFrame.fit pulls activities into one athlete-owned dashboard. When Garmin is linked, overnight wellness refreshes too. A new session can show on Home as it downloads, while details finish in the background. The first sync can take a few minutes; later refreshes are quicker.

5. Plan the week onto Garmin

Add workouts on Calendar yourself, paste an AI week, or pull a Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, or TrainingPeaks calendar on Training Plan. Training Plan is for imported coaches; your own sessions go on Calendar. Structured sessions can go to Garmin so the workout is on the watch. After you train, plan vs done shows how closely you hit the targets.

6. Review after you train

Home shows today's session, how form and fitness may change if you complete it, and the expected load. Quality views compare the hard intervals, not only full-session averages. Compare weeks puts Monday-Sunday weeks side by side - load, heart rate, sleep, and Form. Same-day pairs (bike-run, strength-run, hybrid) show as bricks with fade on the second leg. Nutrition tracks daily burn and protein. Share an activity, a day, or a week when you want the story out.

Also in the dashboard

Once Garmin is linked, the rest of the product sits beside that daily loop. Use Simple for big numbers, or Detailed for the full story. Support has public how-to articles if you want the steps for one screen.

Home is the daily call

Overnight recovery, form, fitness, load, and today's sessions on one screen. New Garmin activities appear as they download, so you decide before you leave the house. Use Simple for big numbers, or Detailed for the full story.

Open a session and see if the work landed

Plan vs done, the hard block, zones, and whether repeats faded. Not only the session average - the quality of the work. Same-day pairs such as bike-run or strength-run show as bricks with fade on the second leg.

Plan the week onto Garmin

Add workouts on Calendar yourself, paste an AI week, or pull a Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, or TrainingPeaks calendar on Training Plan. Structured sessions go to the watch so the workout is there when you start.

Compare weeks, not only sessions

Put two to four Monday-Sunday weeks side by side. Charts overlay peak HR, resting HR, and HRV so a race week is easy to read against another week. Open it from Calendar, or from a race to line up the week before with race week.
