Move your TrainingPeaks library
For coaches: how to bring your TrainingPeaks workout library into DataFrame.fit with an export file you make yourself, what to do if something goes wrong, and why the export button is optional and your choice.
Please read this first
TrainingPeaks' terms do not allow automated scripts to collect information. The export button is a small script that you run yourself on your own page, so using it is optional and your choice. It has not been approved by TrainingPeaks.
Adding sessions by hand is always possible. When TrainingPeaks offers an official connection, we will move to it and withdraw the export button.
If something goes wrong
Most problems have a quick fix.
- No bookmarks bar: press Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows or Cmd+Shift+B on a Mac.
- Your browser blocks the bookmark: press Copy the code, make a new bookmark by hand and paste the code in as its address.
- The button says it is switched off: it has been withdrawn for now. Add your sessions by hand instead.
- TrainingPeaks asks you to sign in: sign in on that tab, then click the bookmark again.
- No file downloaded: check your browser has not blocked the download, then click the bookmark again.
Good to know
Interval structure comes across for the sports DataFrame.fit supports. Other sessions come across as notes.
You can import up to 200 templates. TrainingPeaks folders become tags that start with tp:. The library move is for coaches. Athletes who want TrainingPeaks sessions in DataFrame.fit connect their calendar instead, which is a separate, technical and optional route.
You do not need the dated calendar sync for this. That is a separate, technical and optional route.
