Support / Connect TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh
How optional TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh connections work in DataFrame.fit. Garmin stays the primary log. TrainingPeaks is for coach plans and sessions that never reached Garmin. MyWhoosh is for indoor rides captured there.
Who wins on duplicates
Garmin wins when the same completed session exists in Garmin and TrainingPeaks. If you also connect MyWhoosh, rides captured there replace matching TrainingPeaks-only copies - the capture platform wins. Sync does not double-count the same ride.
Plans vs activities
TrainingPeaks planned workouts need TrainingPeaks ticked as a plan source. Connecting the account alone is not enough. Garmin Coach and a Google Sheet are separate plan sources; you can use up to two, or none if you write the week yourself.
You do not have to connect them
Many athletes only use Garmin Connect. Skip TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh unless you have coach plans or indoor rides that never reach Garmin. You can disconnect later without losing your DataFrame.fit account.
Steps
- Connect Garmin first - TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh are extras. Link Garmin Connect so activities and wellness have a primary home.
- TrainingPeaks if you need it - Settings - Connections. Connect TrainingPeaks if your coach plans there, or if apps such as Zwift land in TP but not Garmin.
- Choose TP as a plan source - After connecting, tick TrainingPeaks under Training Plan sources when you want TP planned workouts on the week.
- MyWhoosh for indoor rides - Connect MyWhoosh to import rides you did in the game. Optionally push those FIT files into Garmin Connect so they appear there too.
