Support
Connect Garmin Connect
How to link Garmin Connect to DataFrame.fit in Settings. Garmin is the recommended watch and wellness source. Polar is also supported as an alternative primary watch. WHOOP can sit alongside Garmin.
Why Garmin is recommended
Garmin Connect holds the official activity, courses, Garmin Coach on the device, and daily wellness. DataFrame.fit syncs from Connect. It does not replace your watch or the Garmin app. Most athletes should connect Garmin first for the fullest recovery picture.
After you connect, DataFrame.fit can read activities, sleep, HRV, Body Battery, and training readiness, then show today's plan in that context.
Optional extras
Prefer Polar? Connect Polar Flow instead - connecting Polar disconnects Garmin on this account. WHOOP can sit alongside Garmin for workouts, sleep, recovery and strain - there is no plan push to WHOOP. TrainingPeaks is optional for coach plans or sessions that only exist in TP, for example some indoor rides. MyWhoosh is optional for indoor rides captured there. If both TP and MyWhoosh have the same ride, DataFrame.fit prefers the MyWhoosh copy so you do not double-count. Google Calendar is a separate opt-in on Calendar - it does not replace your watch.
If connect fails
Try again in a moment. If Garmin asks you to approve access a second time, complete that step. You can disconnect and reconnect from Settings later without losing your DataFrame.fit account.
Steps
- 1. Open SettingsSign in, then open Settings. Connections is the first setup card.
- 2. Connect Garmin ConnectTap Connect Garmin and sign in with the same Garmin account you use on the watch.
