Getting started with DataFrame.fit

How to start with DataFrame.fit: sign in with Google, link Garmin Connect (recommended) or Polar, sync, then use Home, write the week on Calendar, and open Training Plan for imported coaches. Free for endurance and hybrid athletes.

What DataFrame.fit is

DataFrame.fit is a free training dashboard on top of Garmin Connect or Polar Flow. It is not a replacement for Garmin, Polar, or TrainingPeaks. Keep your watch app for the device and wellness. DataFrame.fit adds quality-block compare, week compare, brick fade, nutrition, hybrid sports, and share cards. With Garmin linked, overnight recovery also feeds today's plan check on Home.

Sign in is with Google. Your training data stays private to your account. There is no paid plan.

First hour

After you sign in, a floating score on Home walks through setup: your watch, sports, a race if you have one, Training Plan, nutrition, gear, and recovery. Open it, read what each step is for, then tap Let's do it now. Use Not for me if a step is not for you.

  • Garmin Connect is the recommended primary watch
  • Polar Flow is also supported (one watch at a time)
  • WHOOP: workouts, sleep, recovery and strain, sits alongside Garmin, no plan push
  • TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh are optional
  • You can add your own sessions on Calendar if you do not use a coach sheet
  • On Calendar, you can optionally send the plan, races, and logged sessions to Google Calendar

Where to go next

Home is the daily landing. Calendar is where you write the week - add workouts, races, and see what you logged. Sessions a coach assigns on DataFrame land on that Calendar too. Training Plan is for imported plans only (Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, TrainingPeaks) and sits under Nutrition; on a phone, open More. Activities is the log. Recovery, Session Quality, and Volume sit under Understand when you want the deeper view. Coaches open Coaching for the roster.
