Plan the week onto your Garmin

How to add workouts on Calendar in DataFrame.fit and send structured sessions to Garmin. Plan yourself, paste an AI week, or pull a Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, or TrainingPeaks calendar on Training Plan.

One week in one place

Calendar is where you write the week. Add workouts yourself, import a workout built as blocks, or paste a week from ChatGPT. On Add workout, tap Race to add an event on that day instead of a session. Planned sessions also show on Home.

Training Plan is imported plans

Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, and TrainingPeaks sync on Training Plan, with plan vs done. That page sits under Nutrition in the sidebar. On a phone, open More. To add your own workout, use Calendar - Training Plan points you there. Sessions a coach assigns on DataFrame also land on Calendar, marked as from that coach, and you can amend them.

What goes to the watch

Structured sessions with steps (warm-up, work, recover, cool-down) can be sent to Garmin. Easy or unstructured notes stay in DataFrame.fit as the plan. After you train, open the activity to see plan vs done on the hard block, not only the full-session average.

Edits stay in DataFrame.fit

If you change a My plan session on Calendar, that change stays in DataFrame.fit. It does not rewrite your coach's Google Sheet or TrainingPeaks calendar. That is deliberate: the live week you follow can differ from the original source.

Steps

  1. 1. Open CalendarCalendar is in the Train group. That is the week you write, plus logged activities and races.
  2. 2. Add or pull the weekAdd sessions yourself on Calendar, or tap Race on Add workout for an event on that day. Paste an AI week from More, or connect a Google Sheet, Garmin Coach, or TrainingPeaks source in Settings and sync on Training Plan. A coach on DataFrame can also assign sessions onto your Calendar.
  3. 3. Send structured work to GarminStructured sessions can go to Garmin so the workout is on the watch.
  4. 4. Review plan vs doneAfter you train and sync, plan vs done shows how closely the session landed on the targets.
