Compare quality blocks

How quality-block compare works in DataFrame.fit. Compare the hard intervals across sessions the way coaches talk, not only full-session averages. Open Session Quality or add activities to compare.

Why averages hide the work

A session average mixes warm-up, work, and cool-down. Coaches talk about the repeats: did the last interval fade, did pace hold at the same heart rate, did power stay in the target. Quality-block compare is built for that.

Where to read it

On an activity, the quality panel highlights the hard block and whether repeats faded. Session Quality under Understand shows the trend. Compare lets you put two or more sessions next to each other. To compare whole Monday-Sunday weeks instead - load, heart rate, sleep, and Form - open Compare weeks from Calendar.

Plan vs done

If the session came from Calendar or an imported coach plan as structured work, plan vs done sits on the same activity. That is how you see whether the watch workout matched the plan you sent.

Steps

  1. 1. Open a hard sessionOpen the activity. Quality views focus on the work block, not only the whole ride or run.
  2. 2. Open Session QualitySession Quality (Execution) shows how hard sessions landed across the week.
  3. 3. Compare across daysAdd sessions to compare to see the same quality block side by side.
