Sync your training

How Sync works in DataFrame.fit. Pull Garmin activities and wellness into one dashboard. The first sync can take a few minutes. New sessions can appear on Home before Sync fully finishes.

What Sync pulls

Sync pulls activities from Garmin Connect or Polar into your DataFrame.fit dashboard. When Garmin is linked, overnight wellness refreshes too. Later refreshes are quicker than the first one. You can still open a session you just finished while the rest of the pull continues in the background.

How often to sync

Use Sync after you train, or when overnight recovery should have updated. DataFrame.fit can also quietly look for new watch activities when you open the app. Manual Sync is still the reliable way to force a full refresh.

After you edit an activity on Garmin

Sync picks up name changes you make in Garmin Connect for recent sessions. If you trimmed GPS or edited strength labels, open that activity in DataFrame.fit and tap Refresh from Garmin. Garmin keeps the original FIT file, so DataFrame clips the map and charts to the trimmed window Connect shows.

TrainingPeaks and MyWhoosh

If you linked TrainingPeaks or MyWhoosh, Sync also brings those planned sessions or indoor rides. Matching copies are deduped so the same ride does not appear twice.

Steps

  2. 2. Tap SyncUse Sync workouts in the header. Stay on the page while the first pull runs.
  3. 3. Watch HomeA new activity can show on Home as soon as it downloads, while details and recovery keep loading.
