Log nutrition and protein

How nutrition works in DataFrame.fit. See daily burn from Garmin, a protein target from your training type, and a food log. Scan a barcode or pick from the list.

Burn and protein

Nutrition uses Garmin daily burn so the energy number matches the watch, not a generic calculator. Protein target follows endurance, hybrid, or strength-heavy training from the sports you set.

Logging

Pick foods from the catalogue or scan a barcode. You can log a day even when you are not at a computer. Archived days can sync notes back toward Garmin when that path is enabled in Settings.

Not a diet app

The point is enough protein and energy for the week you are actually training, not a food social network. If a food is missing, that is a catalogue detail - the page and barcode flow are the product.

Steps

  1. 1. Open NutritionNutrition sits in Train with Calendar and Activities. On a phone it is in the bottom bar. Training Plan is under Nutrition in the sidebar, or first under More on a phone.
  2. 2. Check the targetDaily burn comes from Garmin. Protein target follows the sports you train.
  3. 3. Log foodScan a barcode or pick a food from the list. Save the day when you are done.
